The Tailoring Brighter Futures Small Grants Scheme supports community-based charities (exclusively those that are UK registered charities) working with people experiencing disadvantage in Hackney, Lewisham, Southwark, and Tower Hamlets. Grants can be used for unrestricted costs or specific projects, including running costs, training, governance, and technology. Charities supporting older people are particularly encouraged to apply, and organisations with annual incomes under £1 million are eligible. Applications are open from 14 September to 30 November 2026, with 35 grants awarded to 127 applicants last year.
