The Archer Trust
The Archer Trust awards grants between £1,000 to £5,000 for charities providing aid or support to a defined group of disadvantaged or marginalised people. The Trust prefers to support organisations working in areas of high unemployment and deprivation as well as sorganisations that good use of volunteers.
The vast majority of their grants are given towards general funds since they prefer to trust the trustees of our beneficiaries to use the funds they receive wisely. In a limited number of cases, we restrict our grants for particular capital projects or particular parts of the operation or spending where this seems to us more appropriate.
The Trust states no application deadline. Trustees meet twice a year, and a grant is likely to arrive 2 to 8 months after you apply. It does not currently reply to unsuccessful applicants due to capacity limits.
