We are delighted that Scotland’s First Minister, John Swinney has taken the 100% Pledge for a Warm Welcome for All, encouraging more spaces across Scotland and beyond to register with the Warm Welcome Campaign.

On Easter Monday, Scotland’s First Minister, John Swinney MPS, joined guests and volunteers on at St. John’s Cornerstone Warm WelcomeSpace in Edinburgh’s West End. The community space is one of the 211 Warm Welcome Spaces across Scotland, offering a safe space to keep warm, make friends, and connect with their local community.

During the visit, First Minister, John Swinney made a personal 100% Pledge for a Warm Welcome for All.

“I’m delighted to be at St. John’s Church in the West End in Edinburgh to support the Warm Welcome Spaces Campaign. It’s [the Warm Welcome Campaign] trying to get to a position where 100% of the population of the UK is within a 30-minute of a Warm Welcome Space, so that there’s access to the highest quality of support for individuals. So here is Scotland, I encourage organisations to register with Warm Welcome and contribute towards making sure we provide facilities that those who face challenges in our society can access, and that we can have warm and welcoming spaces all over the country.”
