Madginford Library Talk Time Session with UK Power Networks

Warm Welcome was delighted to support a recent energy advice session at Madginford Library, delivered by a representative from UK Power Networks. As part of our partnership, UK Power Networks is offering free talks in Warm Welcome Spaces to help communities stay informed, comfortable and connected during the colder months.

At Madginford Library’s regular Talk Time group, attendees heard practical tips on staying warm at home, managing energy use, and knowing where to find further support if they ever need it. Everyone who came along also received a simple room thermometer to help them keep track of indoor temperatures.

Talk Time sessions run in selected Kent Libraries and offer a relaxed and friendly place for people to meet, chat and connect with others in their community. Attendees told us they found the UK Power Networks visit helpful and appreciated having the chance to ask questions in a comfortable, informal setting.

Madginford Library provided a welcoming space for this session, helping ensure local residents could access advice and guidance that may otherwise be hard to reach. Warm Welcome is proud to work with UK Power Networks to bring these free sessions to communities across the county.

Kent Libraries offer a range of activities and groups throughout the year in all 99 libraries. Each location has its own programme of events and activities, so visitors are encouraged to check the latest information online.
