National Grid colleagues inspired by Warm Welcome visits

Two colleagues from National Grid’s Priority Services team have been spending time at local Warm Spaces.

Lynda and Andrea, who work as Contact Centre Advisers, reflect on how these Warm Spaces are not just about keeping warm but are helping people to find support and friendships in this blog.

As mentioned in the blog, National Grid held an Easter Cake Bake Sale and Raffle on Friday 11 April 12-2pm in the Buzz Bar of one of their offices. The PSR Team is raising funds for the Warm Welcome Campaign. There was also a raffle to win an Easter hamper at £1 a ticket.

The team raised £555.15 and the community team will match-fund £400, so our campaign will receive a total of £955.15. One National Grid staffer said there was much more footfall than anticipated as so many people were in the office. "I’m chuffed with how much we’ve made," said one team member.
