Day Centre – Warm Space Availability - Available to Health and Social Care Staff only. Note: Please be aware, this warm space facility may close without prior notice. We recommend calling ahead and making an appointment before planning your visit each time. Our Day Centre is open Monday to Friday during daytime hours, with a limited number of spaces available. Last year, in addition to day centre facility we introduced this warm space specifically for health and social care workers who spend time working outdoors in low temperatures and need a warm place to take a break. Staff may be waiting outside clients’ properties according to their rota and, when temperatures are particularly low, can use this space to rest and stay warm. To access the facility, uniform and valid ID are required. The company reserves the right of admission in line with infection prevention and control procedures. Facilities include Wi-Fi, disabled toilets, mobile phone charging points, tea/coffee with snacks, books, sensory room, prayer room and arts crafts. Staff can also join in any activities taking place while they are in the warm space. Please note that we regularly take photos and CCTV records enjoyable moments within the facility; by using the space, you consent to these recordings and potential publication of the data. Currently we are not affiliated with any of charities. We operate independently and are only offering the warm space facility to support health and social care staff. We also work under the guidance of Leicester City and County Council Homecare Social Services Department regularly.
