Welcome to Ammi's Kitchen's Friday community lunches :)
We warmly invite you to join us in the Common Ground Community Centre, in the warm main hall.
Friday dates coming up: 6th March 2026, 20th Mar, 17th Apr, 1st May, 15th May, 5th June, 19th June, 3rd July, 17th July, 4th Sept, 18th Sept, 2nd Oct, 16th Oct, 7th Nov, 21st Nov, 4th Dec and 18th Dec 2026.
12 - 2pm on these Friday, eat in only.
You can enter through the gate at the bottom of Woodstock Road (opposite Empire Hair!) We lay out long tables and people from across the community come to eat. There's space to sit on your own or people to sit next to if you prefer.
Those on benefits / NRPF eat a delicious, authentic dhaal, rice and chutney lunch for free, others are asked to 'pay as you feel'. It is a very warm and friendly atmosphere where diversity is welcomed and celebrated.
We will be here to give you a warm welcome - we hope to meet you soon!
