Community Living Room 2024/25 When: Every Thursday 11am - 2.45pm starting in October 2024 continuing in 2025 Community Living Rooms will be spaces for people to meet and socialize in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment, enjoy a hot drink and meal, and access information and support if they want to. People who attend the café to access the community living room service on Thursdays, will get a free meal and drinks, others will be asked to pay what they can afford. We will also arrange to have a rolling calendar of skill-sharing workshops; support services and activities available for people to access whilst they are in the space. The groups that we will be asking to host the space will be those who we believe align with our co-op’s principals and who will help to improve our communities’ resilience. This could include anything from: mental health support services, to workshops about setting up a housing co-op or creative workshops like weaving and glass decorating as well as tabletop games, reading and poetry.
