Evergreen Care UK - Elderberries Vintage Tea Rooms - 8th Bexleyheath Scout Group

**SPACE OPENING ON 1st October 2026** Elderberries Vintage Tea Rooms is a friendly and inclusive community space supporting people in later life across Bexley. We provide a warm welcome, affordable hot meals and refreshments, companionship, social activities, practical information and opportunities to build meaningful connections. Many of our guests are living alone, experiencing loneliness or isolation, coping with bereavement, managing health conditions, caring for someone else, or finding it difficult to access information and services. Our staff and volunteers take time to listen, build trusted relationships and help people feel valued, connected and more confident. We also provide informal support with digital exclusion, including help to understand online safety, scam awareness and how to access useful NHS information. Visitors can receive information and signposting about carers’ support, local services, health and wellbeing, and other sources of practical help. Our team includes trained Dementia Friends, and we aim to provide an understanding and supportive environment for people living with dementia and those who care for them. We encourage preventative care by sharing accessible advice and helping people find support before problems become more serious. Where someone needs additional help, we can connect them with other Evergreen Care services or trusted local organisations. Elderberries is free to enter, with meals and refreshments available at affordable prices. No referral is required. People in later life, carers, family members and members of the wider community are warmly welcomed.
