A small group of local people are volunteering and working exceptionally hard to set up a ‘Winter Warm Hub at Jacksdale Community Centre. This is going to be known as ‘The Community Kitchen’. This will be open each Tuesday morning from 11.00 am until 1.00pm, starting on 1st October 2024. The Community Kitchen is a not-for-profit venture and is being supported financially by donations and run by volunteers. ‘Everyone will be made very welcome. The heating will be on, so come along and join us for a light lunch and tea and coffee. Hopefully this small venture will be a huge success over the winter period and a great support to those who need it, right here in our community.
