Derby Libraries will be providing warm spaces with extra seating and free hot drinks to support communities with the cost of living this winter. The spaces will be available to all to relax and connect in a safe, warm, welcoming space. Library staff will be on hand to support people who want to join the library and borrow books as well as sign post people to support and trusted information on the cost of living. There will also be opportunities for people to access a busy regular programme of free activities in the libraries from family rhymetimes to adult book groups. To protect the planet and reduce the use of plastic people are encouraged to bring their own cups into libraries. Everyone is welcome to unlimited refills of tea and coffee. Hot drinks will be available Monday 10am - 12 and Friday 10am 12
