Swansea MAD is a grassroots, anti-poverty, anti-racist, pro-equality, pro-environmental, inclusive youth and community charity. We work for a fair world in which people can be themselves and thrive! Swansea MAD develops inclusive safe spaces for people to access advocacy, creative arts, education, digital access, employability support, training, campaigning activities and projects to bring fairness and belonging and to influence change for the better. Swansea MAD is part of the Swansea Spaces scheme as a local drop-in Warm Welcome hub, supporting and welcoming people to free food, hot drinks, toiletries, period products, charging points, SIM cards, digital devices and data (and training and support on how to use them). We also provide information and support about energy tariffs and efficiency and support people to register for the Priority Services Register. Swansea MAD also hosts food event every month, where everyone is welcome to share a hot meal and have a chat. Connect with us on our social media platforms to know the dates.
