We offer a weekly programme of inclusive, community-focused activities designed to support wellbeing, reduce isolation, and foster connection. Our space is open and welcoming, with someone on-site most weekdays from 9am to 3pm, ensuring visitors can always drop in for a chat, a cuppa, or simply a place to rest. Monday – (our main Welcome space day!) Welcome Space & Chair-Based Exercise From 10am, we invite people in for tea, biscuits, and friendly conversation. At 11:15am, Alison leads a gentle chair-based exercise class suitable for all abilities. At 12pm, we serve a hearty hot meal with dessert, followed by more tea and coffee. The session typically winds down by 2pm, but the space remains accessible from 9am to 3pm. Tuesday – Community Café Our café runs from 10:30am to 12:30pm, offering affordable refreshments and a relaxed social atmosphere. Anyone experiencing hardship is discreetly offered free tea or coffee. The venue is staffed from 9am to 3pm, so visitors are welcome to pop in at any time. Wednesday – Open Drop-In & Bingo From 10am to 4pm, the space is open for anyone seeking warmth, company, or a quiet moment. We also host a friendly bingo session, open to all, which brings laughter and light-hearted competition. Thursday – Quiet Access Day While no formal activities are scheduled, the centre is staffed from 9am to 3pm. Visitors are welcome to drop in for a chat, a drink, or simply to enjoy the warm, safe environment. Friday – Activity Hub Running from 10am to 12pm, this free session encourages gentle physical activity and social interaction. We offer games such as indoor curling, darts, cards, and Scrabble. Bacon or sausage cobs are available to purchase, and tea and coffee are served throughout. The centre remains open from 9am to 3pm for anyone needing support or company. Weekends – Community Events & Private Hire Saturdays and Sundays are typically reserved for private bookings, but when community events are scheduled, we warmly welcome all attendees.
